MOTOR CONTROL SYSTEMS

MSC-1000™ Micro-Step Controller
  • Micro-Step Controller is a microprocessor based Stepper Motor Controller designed to operate with Computer Weld Technology's HSA-2000™ and/or VSA-2000™ precision slide assemblies. The "Micro-Step Controller" can be used to interface other stepper motor driven components, and with the appropriate mechanical and electrical specifications, to the WSC-1000™ Weld Sequence Control.
  • When used with the "Weld Sequence Control" the MSC-1000 receives position and velocity command data from the WSC-1000 by means of a Local Area Network (LAN), making the unit convenient and easy to install and simple to use.Computer Weld.
  • Technology's "Micro-Step Controller" can be used as a stand alone control, when programmed directly from a personal computer or terminal, and has the ability to store up to 50 move and/or velocity commands.

DMC-500™ DC Motor Controller
  • The DC Motor Controller 500 is a SCR motor speed controller using an embedded micro controller to provide motor speed regulation and torque compensation. The controller can be used to control permanent magnet (PM) or shunt wound field motors up to ¼ hp and is designed to be used with the WSC-1000™ Weld Sequence Controller to control linear DC drive motors for wire feed and or travel speed functions.
  • The DMC-500 provides speed and torque regulation using an optical encoder or phase sampled Back EMF. The embedded controller provides precise motor braking and anti-plugging features to extend motor life. Computer Weld Technology's DMC-500 DC Motor Controller can be used as a stand-alone control, or with the WSC-1000 Thru-Arc System providing motor control functions for DC motors from 1/10 hp to 1/4 hp.

DMC-1000™ DC Motor Controller
  • The DC Motor Controller 1000 is a microprocessor based Direct Current Motor Controller designed to operate with Computer Weld Technology's WSC-1000™ Weld Sequence Controller. The DC Motor Controller can be used to interface direct current motor driven components such as wire feed and travel with the appropriate mechanical and electrical specifications to the WSC-1000.
  • When used with the Weld Sequence Controller, the DMC-1000 receives position, velocity and speed command data from the WSC-1000 by means of a Local Area Network (LAN) making the unit convenient and easy to install and simple to use.
  • The internal 75 line Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) enables the user to configure the system to comply with the desired operational sequences. Computer Weld Technology's DMC-1000 DC Motor Controller can be used as a stand-alone control, when programmed directly from a personal computer or terminal, and has the capability of storing up to 75 PLC commands.
