The slide assembly is intended to be used with Computer Weld Technology's MSC-1000 Micro-step Controller which provides the necessary control functions and drive power to the stepper motor drive.

The ball screw drive design with linear ball rail system provides high load carrying capability, smooth operation, superior response and excellent repeatability.

All of these attributes combine to make the VSA-2000 an ideal tool for use with automatic systems and automated welding applications.

The user can regulate the slide center position, stroke width, oscillation speed, left and right dwell times and enable automatic centering for the purpose of centerline weld joint tracking for all welding processes when used only with the MSC-1000 control.
